Prognosis: Your Diagnosis App Reviews

Just started using it, and I really like this app.

I enjoy this application a lot! Although I am a 63 year old radiologist and much of this does not directly apply to what I do (I dont treat patients per se), it is very useful for understanding what clinicians do and why they do it, which can have a direct bearing on radiology. I am a life long learner and Prognosis is a fun way to keep up!

I couldnt access any of the apps features because it would not load the cases or anything else. I let it load for half an hour and still nothing... I was very interested, as I am a medical student and hoped it would be a fun insightful way to practice, but it was totally worthless. Bummer.

Im just a nursing student, but this app is addicting! Ive learned so much already. Some cases are challenging, but you dont exit without learning something new! Ive started taking notes on the stuff I havent learned yet to stay ahead of the game. Ive already gotten lots of my fellow classmates to download!

The cases are fantastic and the explanations are of proper med school quality.

I want to be a doctor so I started using this app and I learned a few things on what to do and hat not to do and a few diagnosiss!! Great app and I highly recommend it!

Current US MD student: This app is amazing for anyone in clinical medicine who wants to kill some time but still cant get enough of creating ddx. This app stands out because its medical accuracy and its clear that they have a clinician to help assist in creating the scenarios

This app has been amazing in the short time Ive used it. I am able to go through a patient presentation and imagine what I would do in that situation. Not only do you have to think, but it also has an in depth explanation at the end of why certain answers are correct vs others. Its easy to go through a case in a few minutes--great if you have small periods of down time on a rotation, or if youre just studying. I highly recommend it!

Its a fun way to test your diagnostic skills while simultaneously learning why some tests/procedures are more appropriate than others.
